A standard reverse parking sensor kit cannot be fitted to the front of vehicles because the sensor cable lengths are normally too short to route the cables safely around the engine bay. The CPU (Control Box) needs to be mounted somewhere clean and dry, beneath the dashboard. The standard "sensor to CPU" cable length is 2.4 metres, this kit is supplied with 6 metre cable lengths at no extra charge.

System Activation

Front Parking Sensor Kit must be operated via dashboard mounted switch which is available as optional extra. Please select below.

This system has a 3-stage audible alert that gives audible beeps with increasing frequency as you get closer to an obstacle.

Sensors:

The sensors should be mounted on a vertical surface at 50cm or higher from the ground.

The sensors are supplied with optional angled collars that fit between the bumper and sensor to enable you to angle the face of the sensors away from the ground if you are fitting them to a vehicle with a curved bumper.

All our sensors are supplied in black. If you want the sensors colour coded then they can be spray painted using the same paint and colour as your car.

Wiring and Installation
